CASA VENTO is a top a hill overlooking the port of Fiscardo (3 km distance).
FISCARDO is a colourful small port, which every summer hundreds of yachts and many celebrities are visiting. It is the only village that have survived the 1953 earthquake almost unscathed. It's a lively village preserved for the last two hundred years, with a history of 2.500 years. It is not rare to swim just two meters from ancient Greek-Roman baths. Within walking distance there are beaches in secluded coves, surrounded by cypress and olive trees, and an endless variety of restaurants-taverns-cafes-bars-souvenir shops just in the waterfront, to spend your time. There are daily boat trips for Ithaca and Lefkas.
CEPHALLONIA is the largest and most exciting of the Ionian Islands. What it makes it unique is the differences from one place to the other. Is rugged and wild, with jagged mountains and pine forests dominating, but surrounded on all the sides by the most heavenly blue seas. Its surfeit of charms also includes historical places, Byzantine churches, Venetian campaniles, castles, mountainside monasteries, unspoiled villages, ancient olive groves, famous wines and the whitest of white beaches. So the variety of excursions and sightseeing is really endless. In the north part of the island (50 km from Argostoli) you will find the popular port of Fiscardo.
